Enkaustikos Impasto Wax - 10 oz bag

This is a blend of translucent white microcrystalline wax and U.S. Pharmaceutical Grade Beeswax. It is used for adding dimension to encaustic paintings, to build texture quickly, and for sculptural surfaces. Because Microcrystalline Wax yellows over time, use Impasto Wax in an under layer. Proper ventilation should be observed due to the vapors released from the petroleum-based Microcrystalline Wax.
