Marbling is the technique of creating multicolored swirls or stone-line patterns on the surface of your choice. It’s meant to imitate the swirling designs found in marble and other types of stone. Marbling paint makes marbling easy. It adheres to a variety of surfaces, including 3-D objects and fabrics.
Suminagashi, or water marbling, is the process of dripping paint into a marbling tray filled with water. Then, dip your surface into the paint/water mixture, lift it out, and you’re done. The end results are unique and surprising every time.
