Clay extruders (also called ceramics extruders) are used with dies to make shapes for hand-building and decorating pottery pieces. Choose a smaller hand-held clay extruder that works like a dough extruder to create and add decoration to smaller pieces of work. Heavy-duty mounted models make more substantial shapes from 3" to 4" in diameter. Smaller clay guns, rollers, and extruders are ideal for use with polymer clays, and can be used to create rope, braids, bricks, tubes, grass, hair, clover, and other decorative shapes.
