Crystal Art Styles Posters and Videos

This innovative series of posters and accompanying videos offers a helpful reference and an effective way to teach about artistic styles from the 12th century to the present. Each poster set includes eight posters that provide an overview of important art styles.

Poster Sets — Each 18" × 24" poster is printed on cardstock with holes for hanging and a protective UV coating. Each poster includes the following information:

• A description of the period or style and a large reproduction of an important work.
• A period timeline illustrating how that style was related to other important movements of its time.
• A Teacher’s Guide, part of a booklet that accompanies the set as a whole, with expanded information and suggested activities.

Videos — Based on the popular poster series, each 17-minute video offers a fast-paced overview of important works and characteristics of 24 important art styles from the 1100s to the present. Videos are intended for grades 7 and up.
