Author Linda Cateura presents classic oil painting tips for intermediate painters, based on the teachings of one of the great names in contemporary American art, David A. Leffel.

Leffel paints in the classic tradition of early Dutch and Flemish artists such as Rembrandt and Chardin. His compositions are inspired by the human form and still life.
