This is a handy portable desktop unit that cuts easily through styrofoam, fun foam, and acrylic crafting felt. It can easily cut a 5" × 5" (13 cm × 13 cm) block of styrofoam and features a recessed on/off switch for safety. The arm retracts for storage.

The Super Hotwire heats up quickly and cools within seconds. It runs on four "D" cell batteries (included), or on standard 120V current. Three extra cutting wires are included.
