The upper cross bar is welded to the center upright, thus providing strong attachment points to the outer uprights. This results in a rigidly constructed easel that is sturdy enough to handle paintings up to 89" (226 cm) tall.

The adjustable tilt angle, tray height, and upper canvas clamp are controlled with solid steel lever handles that lock securely into place.

The base measures 25" wide × 21" deep (64 cm × 53 cm). The entire unit folds flat to less than 5" (13 cm). Weighs 21 lb (9.5 kg).
