Maxopake Plastisols are an industry standard for printing on dark shirts. They are smooth, creamy, and easy to print. While primarily used for direct prints on cotton and cotton/synthetic blends, Maxopake Plastisol Inks can be used for transfers if mixed with Extender Base. Multiple strokes may be required when printing by hand. When printing on automatics, the use of a rounded squeegee or other techniques is recommended in order to yield a high deposit. Maxopake inks will not air dry, and must be heat cured. Inks will fully cure and withstand repeated washings when the entire ink deposit reaches 300°F (149°C). They have excellent washability. Dry cleaning is not recommended. Maxopake inks come ready to use, but if necessary, reduce with small amounts of Maxopake Reducer/Detackifier. Reducing of the ink may affect the opacity on dark garments. The best opacity is obtained when printing these inks on 100% cotton garments. For a screen fabric, 74T-110T monofilament polyester is recommended. Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials. |
