A.R.T. Moist Clay White Talc II

This smooth white-firing earthenware clay is excellent for both handbuilding and wheelthrowing, for larger wheel and sculptural forms. It works well with most commercial low-fire glazes. Choice plastic clays with added coarse sand give this clay body strength and texture while reducing cracking.

Light gray in its moist state, ivory white after firing. It is de-aired and ready to use. This clay is not talc free, but is ACMI approved for talc content.

Wide firing range of cone 06-04 (1855° to 1971°F). At cone 05, expect 7% shrinkage and 10% absorption.

It comes in a 50 lb (23 kg) carton that contains two 25 lb (11 kg) bags.
