Amaco Excel Glass Kiln

This compact kiln is ideal for glass jewelry making and other small glass projects, or for metal clay and enameling.

The unit is equipped with a hinged side door for easy opening and loading of pieces, plus a second door for placing finished glass beads on a mandrel for annealing. Both doors have wooden handles mounted away from the heat so they can be grasped without gloves.

The firing chamber measures 9" H × 10" W × 9" D (229 mm × 254 mm × 229 mm). It heats to 1800°F (982°C), and operates on standard household current (115V). A Glass Select Fire computer control ensures accurate and stable temperatures required for annealing. A stand is included.
