Badger's Model 400 Detail/Touch-Up Gun is an intermediate spray gun that bridges the gap between an airbrush and a standard spray gun. It's designed specifically for intricate spraying situations where delicate control is necessary. The Model 400 sprays varying round or fan spray patterns. Fan spray is controlled by adjusting the fan control needle on the side of the gun. Flow rates and operating pressures for a fan spray are given in the Item Specs tab. This spray gun features an overhead trigger for use by left- or right-handed persons. The non-drip, all aluminum 8 oz (237 ml) paint cup has a simple cam-action locking device. You can convert any given model to another by simply changing three parts — the paint tip, the air nozzle, and the needle. Needles and tips are available in three sizes — Fine, Medium, and Heavy. (Heavy Needle no longer available.) Spray sizes in the table are based on a 7" (18 cm) working distance. |
