These books contain step-by-step instructions for making different mat designs, from simply elegant, to ornately complex. Alto's mat cutters are used in the book, but the designs may be adapted to other cutters.

Paperback. Volumes 1 and 2 are 55 pages. Volume 3 is 94 pages. Each book measures 8½" × 11" (22 cm × 28 cm).
