Alto's 4501 and 4505 Mat Cutting Systems

Use Alto's 4501 and 4505 Mat Cutting Systems to design, lay out, and cut professional looking mats quickly and easily. Cut any style or length of mat using the patented Dimension System. Single, double, and triple mats, inlays, complex corners, multiple openings, narrow borders, mosaic corners, V-Grooves, and more are all possible.

These two Alto systems are constructed with a long lasting vinyl laminate hardboard base, and incorporate the popular Alto's Model 45 Mat Cutter.Adjust border widths quickly in 1/8" (about 3 mm) increments, or position the cutter to any point in between byusing the Model 45 Mat Cutter's built-in, infinite width adjustments.

In addition to the Model 45, each system has a precision-made, anodized aircraft aluminum straightedge, a sturdy laminated base with cutting surface, and a patented post-hole measuring system that speeds design measuring and layout. They're portable and easy to store.

Both the Alto's 4501 and 4505 Deluxe come with an introductory video, Alto's Video Library: The Basics. Also included are five replacement blades, two pieces of practice matboard, and 24 pages of complete illustrated instructions. Both systems include a lifetime warranty.
