Ampersand Aquabord

Introducing Aquabord, the same great quality as Claybord Textured, but now with a new name and label design!

Ideal for watercolors, this panel simulates the absorbency and texture of Cold Press paper with some significant advantages. The clay mineral holds colors in suspension, allowing them to flow into each other to create seamless washes.

The surface gives you unprecedented control. Colors remain bright, and there’s no chance of buckling. Aquabord can be sealed with a fixative, and framed without glass, eliminating reflection. Since Aquabord is a rigid panel, no backing board is required.

Aquabord is available in two styles: 1/8" (3 mm) and 2" (51 mm) deep cradled.
