Japanese Stab Binding Kit

Learn the traditional style of Eastern book binding based on 4-hole stitching (using Noble and Tortoise Shell sewing patterns).

Each kit includes everything you need to make three 4" × 6" (10 cm × 15 cm) soft-covered, sewnbooks with folded fore edge pages. Archival materials include linen and decorative thread, a binding needle, and Japanese yuzen paper. Each kit features different paper patterns, shown at right.
