The exceptionally soft, natural hair is a great alternative to sable, and at at a fraction of the price in larger sizes. Mongoose is slightly stiffer than sable, but softer than bristle. The excellent spring, precision, and soft feel make them suitable for almost any technique in oil, acrylic, and watercolor.

This lush thick full-bodied Mongoose series brush is available in larger sizes than sable brushes. It's an excellent choice for glazing techniques. Isabey's maroon lacquered, long hardwood handles have nickel-plated ferrules.
