Escoda Teijin is a maroon-colored synthetic with thicker and stiffer fibers for work with heavier bodied paints. Teijin fiber holds its shape extremely well with fantastic spring. Although not as firm as the Tekady synthetic, Teijin fibers are much stiffer than Tadami. The long black lacquered handle offers plenty of control on canvas, and is secured to the nickel ferrule with Escoda's exclusive triple crimping process. Escoda specially cures each brush for increased resiliency and versatility, making it a pleasure to use. Cat's Tongue — The "Cat's Tongue" is a pointed filbert with more edges than the typical, almond shaped filbert. Popular in Europe, it allows an artist to create lines and points with different weights. |
