Da Vinci Maestro 2 Hog Bristle brushes are meticulously crafted, with extra strong, yet elastic double-boiled bristles to give more spring and longer life. The hand-shaped and interlocking bristles provide better color-carrying ability. Also, the stiffer, fat hairs were removed to ensure better flags at the tip.

The durable, seamless, nickel-plated, brass ferules hold the bristles securely without rusting.

Note — Brush sizes are not standardized. The length and width of a brush of a given shape and size varies considerably by manufacturer. Since fine art brushes are handmade, expect some variation even among brushes from a given manufacturer.
