Winsor & Newton's Artisan Brushes are ideal for use with water mixable oils or acrylics. Artisan brushes are designed especially to go with Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oils, but they can be used with other paints.

The white polyester hair is designed to mimic the performance of hog bristle, yet retain its spring after contact with water. This blend of synthetic white bristles offers better performance and greater longevity with water-based or water soluble paints.

Perfectly balanced for comfort and ease of handling, these long handled brushes feature a nickel plated ferrule and a silver lacquered handle.

Artisan Brush Pack — The set includes one each Round #6 (fine detail, lines, and washes), Bright #8 (sharp edge with control), Fan #1 (for blending and softening edges), Filbert #4 (used for creating a broad mark with a soft edge), and Flat #8 (for glazing or covering a large area).
