Sennelier Mastic Gum Varnish

Mastic Gum Varnish is a final painting varnish based on mastic gum for application on dry paint. Use this mastic varnish both as a conservation product, and to recreate older materials and techniques.

It produces a high-gloss, high-build film with a golden glow like that evident in many old masters paintings. Dilute Mastic Gum Varnish with gum turpentine. It may alter over time, but is easily removed.
