Use a mixture of alum and water sponged over paper before marbling to make the paper more receptive to the color. Jacquard Alum also improves color fastness and tone. Mix two tablespoons to one pint of hot water. Caution — Keep dyes, paints, and chemicals away from children. Avoid unnecessary personal contact. Do not take internally. |
