Lascaux Pastel Ground

The medium is ground to an ultra smooth and uniform consistency to insure flawless adhesion and performance. Use it when preparing papers, boards, and other substrates for pastel work.

Mix Lascaux Pastel Ground with Lascaux colors to create a variety of shades and tints. Mix with other Lascaux mediums to alter the texture or sheen of the ground, or to provide additional tooth. It is more flexible than Lascaux's modeling pastes, and can be blended with them for use on boards and other hard surfaces.
