Logan Graphic Products is a family owned business, located in the Chicago suburbs, that has been manufacturing mat cutters and related products for graphics, framing, and display for 25 years. One of the oldest manufacturers of mat cutting equipment, Logan offers numerous patents, features, and options that are the result of years of experience.
The "original" Logan Mat Cutter introduced many of the features that are today considered standard for mat cutters. Features such as the Squaring Arm, Blade Depth Stop, Production Stops, and the V-Groover are still showcased by other mat cutter manufacturers.
Logan mat cutters include a unique "upgradeable product system," that allows a customer who purchases a lower end mat cutter to later upgrade that cutter, so that it can operate with a more efficient mounted system.
Note — Do not confuse Logan Graphic Products with Logan Electric Specialty Manufacturing Company, also based in Chicago. Logan Electric is a manufacturer of light tables and light pads that are popular with artists.
