Welcome to dickblick
Yupo is a compelling and unique alternative to traditional art papers. It's a synthetic paper, machine-made in the USA of 100% polypropylene. It is waterproof, stain resistant, and extremely strong and durable.
This extraordinary, non-absorbent surface resists tearing and buckling and remains perfectly flat, eliminating the need for soaking, stretching, or taping.
Watercolor professionals have found Yupo to be receptive to a variety of aqueous techniques, but it is also ideal for offset printing, silkscreen, debossing, drawing, acrylic painting, and more.
Choose Bright White or Translucent sheets. Pigments applied to the Bright White sheet retain their true clarity and brilliance while the Translucent sheet allows for special layered effects and tracing.
Yupo is pH-neutral, flawlessly smooth, and recyclable.
Because of the unique qualities of this paper, dirt and oils hinder its performance. We recommend removing spots and fingerprints with soap and water before use.
Pads are tape bound on the short side.
Heavyweight Watercolor Paper Pads
The heavyweight, 144 lb (390 gsm) paper in Yupo Heavyweight Watercolor Pads is incredibly strong with a very smooth surface. Its heavier weight makes it more resistant to buckling and warping. Pads contain 10 sheets of paper.

Yupo paper is wonderful
from Kanab, Utah
I love working on Yupo paper. I found that the heavyweight is a little too thick to use with dies in my machine, but it cuts wonderfully on a paper cutter. I love how the ink moves so easily and it is fabulous using Gelatos. It's my favorite product to use right now as it always gives me lovely results. And if you don't like it, you can easily get the ink off or moved around till you do like it.

I wasnt expecting this to be a smooth type of paper. I was expecting normal watercolor paper. But I must have just missed that.

I had to buy several tablets of this paper when it was on sale as I love to work with it and Alcohol Inks. It is by far the best substrate paper available.

excellent for alcohol inks

Really excellent product for alcohol ink paintings.
I love Yupo paper!
I'm using my new Yupo with Alcohol inks and I am having so darn much fun I can't stop doing it. I found one that I had done where I wasn't happy with my work, so I just used blending solution on it again and all that disappeared and I had a whole new look that was usable. Amazing actually. I have even framed a couple of my projects now just to show off my very first ones. Next die cutting it. Haven't tried that yet.
