Say YES! to Yes Glue
from Kensington, MD
Comments about Yes Stikflat Glue:
The studies that I do for my paintings are collages, and I've found that YES glue works best. It's sticky and I have to constantly wipe my hands clean, but the results are worth it. This glue was recommended to me by a Museum Curator who favors collage, in fact he pointed out that collage work by certain (old school)Bay Area Figurative painters utilized YES glue- he'd learned this while preparing for a show of their works on paper.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

SAY YES TO YES

Yes Glue , I love Yes Glue its smooth ,flexible , and it doesn't smell bad. Yes Glue is great for mixed media art projects : like collages, book making, scrapbooking, and sculpture. Yes does not turn yellow, bubble, or wrinkle when it dries or look gloppy and it does not take away from the craftsmanship if used properly .My students love it and so do I.

The product is use to affix masa and rice paper on to watercolor paper for watercolor paintings. Karlyn Holman utilizes this technique in some of her paintings and I was following her instructions from a purchased video.

This paste is excellent, whether you're a professional artist or a working with students. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and does it well. I recently used it in a book binding project in an art class I teach, and the beauty of it is that it adheres heavy paper efficiently, but is easy to clean up. I'll definitely purchase again.

I Love YES paste
By Deb the scrapper

I love this product of YES paste been using it for about 8 years. I came across it when I was looking for a glue to scrapbook with instead of glue sticks, tape runners( expensive) etc. and I use nothing else and I'm an avid scrapper doing over 500 pages a year. This product can be used for an craft project also- I promote this to other scrapbooking ladies all the time - when I go to my retreats and they see that I'm using a paste. Again I love YES paste.

Fantastic for mounting fine art paper to wooden panels. The best I've ever used and "Yes" stik flat glue has so many other possibilities. One great product! Two thumbs up.

I am responding to reviewer who said Yes! turns brown after 10 years and works up to surface of art piece. I cannot afree: the papier colle work that I did in 1999 and 2000 still is as fresh as it was then. I do not know what happened in said reviewer's work (what type of materials used, storage conditions, etc.), but I doubt that Yes! is responsible. I do "decant" a small amount of Yes! into a wee screw top jar from the larger jar...I use Blick's Color Spreaders to apply and they work well.

Love this product
from Beaches of Mississippi
This product is perfect for my mixed media pieces. So thankful I heard about it. The product itself is like a mushed glue stick. very thick and sticky! I use the product exclusively when I am applying tissue paper or velum to my collage pieces. The paper does not wrinkle, dries flat and glue dries clear. Wonderful addition to any studio!!

I'm a pastel artist. Yes!Paste is not suited for original works of art, according to experts on conservation. The information is available online. It's advertised as "archival" but within ten years or so, it turns dark brown and the color is likely to migrate to the surface of your collage, watercolor, or pastel. This product would be suitable for craft projects in which longevity and conservation isn't an issue.
