Love, Love, Love these Brush Holders!
from Baltimore, MD
Comments about Yasutomo Bamboo Brush Holders:
I really love the look and function of these brush holders. I have both 8" and 6" for my acrylic & watercolour brushes; and another 6" for other tools. I wish they had the 10" & 4" as well. I would buy them all!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Bamboo holders ok
By Annie in New England
from New England
I've seen bamboo vase holders more finely finished than these: they are a bit on the rustic side. I don't mind, but for folks looking for a finely finished bamboo, these probably are not it. They are great for holding my short-handled watercolor brushes and smaller oil or acrylic brushes. They are a bit narrower than I expected, so I'm sticking with my quart mason jars for the larger/longer brushes, as the bamboo holders will tip over. I imagine I'll eventually re-purpose these to hold dry ornamental grasses, branches, etc. Or put some pebbles in the bottom to weight them. Or both. They'd look very attractive that way.

I purchased this to store my spare brushes. It holds a lot and is much taller than I expected so it can accommodate some of my spare sumi brushes.

Bamboo brush holder

I can't say much about a brush holder. I have an oriental theme on my desk, so the bamboo holder went with it. Just wish it was a little wider. The few brushes I have fit into it. If I got anymore then they probably wouldn't fit.
I hold my brushes, colored pencils, Great!
Be ready to spend some time removing sticky labels

I like these bamboo brush holders but I would not buy them again as the sticky labels were very hard to remove.

Just rey to get these stickers off!
By Artist designer Lynnie
Bought 4 and spent 1/2 hour scrubbing stickers off. Who orders nice brush holders and wants big inventory sticker on them??? They do not come off easily. Buff with sandpaper to rough up surface. Spray with Goo Gone (Brand name) let sit for 5 minutes. Immerse in hot soapy water and scrub again with sandpaper or rough scrubber sponge. Finally if this doesn't do it scrape the rest off with a knife. How long have we had easy-peel labels on items? Thanks Dick Blick
I would buy again

Using product to hold paint brushes
Looks really nice but flimsy and tips over easily; I tried to use since it wasn't breakable but found it annoying because it kept falling over, spilling brushes.
