This is the most comfortable X-acto knife. I use it as an architecture student and I will never go back to a strait metal X-acto ever. This one is contoured to better fit your hand.

the other reviewer is a nut. I've had this knife for 5 years, and it's perfectly fine. The cushion grip makes it easier on the fingers than the plain #1 X-acto.
