I thought it would come with a backing so that I can lay the tile on it. Neither the wood or metal frames have backing. This is my first attempt at this project, so I feel a little lost.

The Rosewood frame has considerably more red tones than the example shown. The example appears to be more walnut than rosewood which is what I needed. The alderwood color matched the photo.

Good service and quality product though.

The frame was very well made with tight corners and the wood took a stain favorable. Wish I could find a frame of the same quality to fit my 8" tiles, as well as a multi-frame that would take two or three 4" tiles.

I didn't realise that these frames weren't backed and I have to have backed frames. I know this vendor also makes backed frames and my normal supplier was out so I'll have to make do with these frames. Order was easy, really really wish you had the backed frames so I can reorder with you

Wood frame used to display/sell hand-painted tiles for craft show. I stained the frames myself & the results were fantastic! Many buyers bought tiles including the frame to hang or use as trivet.

I recently ordered trivet frames to accommodate a number of tiles I have collected from various vacations. They were well-made, arrived in a timely fashion and look great on my wall. I've placed an order for more, so I guess that says it all.
