These a beautiful to use in paper crafting!
from Villa Rica, Ga
I love these. I paint watercolors on canvas and these work great! Not sure how they would be on paper, but for me these are a real problem solver.

Oh, to see the world through it's color!

I'm a Winsor Newton girl!....when I saw the watercolor pens, I knew I had to try them. So, I figured if Dick Blick carried them, there lay the fact of quality.
Great bush markers
from Richmond, Va
I ought these pens to color in coloring books and to create mandalas. They have been fun to use and have great colors. I love how the brush end can color large areas or small with the with a more flexibleNature while the othe end is firmer and good for one detail and drawing.I bought about 25 different colors and all the pens but one are not problem. The caps snap on and wit one, it pulls the whole top off the pen including the brush end and I have to separate the two every time I use that color, witch is a little difficult . Otherwise I really like these markers and would recommend them

Great for Travel!

The colors are brilliant and the brush tip is nice for lettering. Just as in any marker, when the tip gets wet, the color stops coming out of the pen so avoid the temptation to use the markers in a wet wash. Simply brush the color onto a plastic palette, add water and mix with a brush and apply to paper. These watercolor markers are great for travel!

Nice pens but . . .
from Scottsdale, AZ
I like the way they work but the color name on each pen is so small it is difficult to read. I ordered the whole set plus one of all the other colors. I was so tired of trying to find and read the color name that I printed out the names on mailing labels, cut them up and wrapped the name around each pen. With the number of pens I ordered, many of the colors appear just the same from the color on the pens easy to read names was is essential. Other than that, these pens are nice and pleasant to use.
I need more of these

I use these markers for abstract works on hotpress watercolor paper, Aquabord, and Yupo. When overlapped, the color has a lovely translucency. I do sometimes add gouache and water over the marker and I like that it will blend or bleed a bit. I have no complaints other than the Alizarin Crimson is very weak pigment-wise compared to the vibrancy of other colors so I don't like using it.
from Hood River, Or
Although these markers are expensive, I really like them. They lay down color very easily and evenly. I haven't tried blending them with other colors because I don't want them for that. But, I have so much control of where the color goes. Yes, I like them a lot!!
