This is a high-quality canvas manufactured to Winsor & Newton's exacting standards.

Each roll of medium-grain 8 oz natural cotton duck has been triple coated with one coat of acid-free sizing and two coats of highly pigmented acrylic primer.

Its heavier weight makes it ideal for all techniques. Use with oils (including water-mixable oils), acrylics, and alkyds. Balanced absorbency and tooth prevent sinking of oil colors and offers better adhesion.

The rolls are packaged in reusable plastic bags.

I got this as a replacement for the first canvas that I tried to prime myself. It shrunk more than I planned for so I purchased this instead. It arrived nicely rolled and saved me so much time being primed already.

I'm all for this one. good value, quality material, and a size that can travel on a plane. I took three rolls of this in the original UPS packaging on the plane without a hitch.
At this kind of price I can make awful paintings on professional quality material without qualm.
