I draw comics and after I pencil my pages, I like to ink them with india ink before I scan them. I use a variety of tools (dip pens, markers, repidographs) including brushes. Recently I have been having a hard time finding a brush that comes to a nice point when wet and does not split when loaded with ink.

These brushes are perfect to get a nice outline or to ink something organic. I know that they are small and for larger objects require a few re-loads with the ink, but the quality of the line is worth it to me.

Compared to any other brush I've ever used, these are BY FAR the best. I paint a lot, and have found that with the kind of painting I do, nothing else gives me the kind of control that I have with these. They're perfect.

I used to not like painting with watercolor, until I started trying out better quality brushes. I got a set of these when I was a student in college and bought a few extras at the time. I still have them. They remain my favorite choice for watercolor painting so far. The size 5 round is particularly my favorite for most of my illustration painting. I have two of them, one from series 1 and series 2. The #303 script liner holds a nice point for detailing/outlining. One semi regret: I wish I would have found out about this store sooner. The prices here look like a steal.
