Winsor & Newton Sansodor makes a viscous mixture that evaporates slowly and is the least hazardous solvent for artists to use. It costs approximately the same as turpentine, but has minimal odor and does not deteriorate when stored. Sansodor is well-suited for artists who prefer to avoid exposure to turpentine.

Almost, but Not Quite Odorless
from Beaufort, SC
This product is not "sans odor", although the odor is not at the level of turpentine or other paint thinners. I use it only to clean my brushes and palette. I also keep it in air tight containers.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Simply the Best.
from Aspen Colorado and Sydney Australia
Sansodor makes working with oil paints a luxurious experience. The paint smoothes on beautifully and it makes the tedious chore of cleaning brushes far easier.
I trust Sansodor to keep the stability of the pigments
I use Sansodor for years, and found it very good for professionals. I trust Sansodor to keep the stability of the pigments, and its very easy to use

my personal choice for spirits
I prefer this over other spirits as it is slower drying. I use it in a mixture of stand oil and venice turpentine as my every day medium as well as glazing. It dries slower than using other mineral spirits or turpentine which suits my needs. It still dries in 2-3 days though depending on temperature and humidity
