Welcome to dickblick
Unrivalled in brilliance, Winsor & Newton Professional Acrylics are made with the highest quality, maximum-strength pigments to ensure clean, strong colors with wonderful working properties. Their revolutionary transparent binder virtually eliminates color shift from wet to dry, eliminating guesswork and letting acrylic painters make the most of spontaneous, direct painting techniques.
Brilliance (defined as the richness, intensity, and depth of a color) is possibly the most important quality to look for in an acrylic paint. Winsor & Newton Professional Acrylics are unsurpassed in this regard. This becomes evident when you apply these colors straight from tube to canvas, as well when executing thin films and glazes. Even the earth tones, blacks, and whites are clean and never dull.
Each individual color In the Professional Acrylic line uses the maximum amount of pigment possible — without extenders — to produce a brilliant paint with the broadest handling properties and outstanding color-mixing capabilities.
Winsor & Newton's expertise in resin technology has resulted in a unique binder that is translucent when wet and dries clear — ensuring virtually no shift in color, and colors that remain as brilliant when dry as they are when wet. The result is a range that allows artists to match colors more easily from palette to canvas and see a painting as it will actually look when finished.
Tubes are available in 60 ml and 200 ml sizes. 237 ml jars are also available.

Reliable pigments... Good spectrum balance.
from Winchester, VA
Professional grade full-body are what I use and they are consistent and reliable. They do not flood the product range with tons of misleading popular formulations/mixes. They respect the ability of their product to work well in the hands of reasonably competent artists. Having said that, I also use other very fine lines of acrylic pigments as well as a range of convenience mixes that W & N may not have. When buying a range of pigments within a certain spectrum of hue... I tend to go with that pigment manufacturer for those two or three pigments. W & N shows good spectral balance.

Let me count the ways
By Landscape Lou

I'm just a retired Art teacher who spends every spare moment paintingt, teaches an occasional class and belongs to two art clubs. I love Art, and I love Windsor Newton Acrylic paint. I can't explain the former, but the latter helps me paint better by 1)staying the same lovely color it was when wet, 2)great color intensity, 3)nicely holding the original texture of my stroke and by 4)looking so cool in their new tube design.
Best acrylic paint
from Clinton Township, MI
Love the fact that there is no color shift when the paint dries. Excellent for palette knife and impasto techniques.

Winsor Newton Graphite Grey
from Northern Oregon
Never had a problem ordering from Blick until this last order. The cap on this tube was not screwed on tight. The entire tube had gone off almost rock hard. The bottom seal was starting to burst open. Even cut my finger on the bottom seal trying to squeeze a little paint out. But Blick is sending me another tube right away. They did not make me ship the worthless one back. But they will not mail it to my P.O. Box for some reason. It`s rather senseless to send a Fed-X truck all the way out here just for one little tube of paint. Sometimes it might be better to just go to an art supply store rather than ordering online.
Excellent. I will never use oil paint again
These paints are great. Super vibrant colors. Easily workable. For my purposes, I like them a lot better than oil paint.

This mixing white is not a replacement for titanium white. It is a transparent white that allows you to subtley lighten an warm your pigments without making them opaque or chalky. It gives you a much larger value range and can be used with glazing mediums. If you love transparent glazes this is a product to add to your palette.
