All the paints easily fall out from the plastic containers, like when you swipe your brush in the colors, the whole color block clatters in the plastic and sometimes they come off. The cerulean blue was very dull compared to cheaper brands like Van Gogh. Other than that, the paint was normal to average in comparison to others. It's not very fun to use because the paints have a hard time holding steady in place.

I have used one of these for years, replacing the provided paint with tube paint with colors of my choosing. From restaurants, to standing on street corners, I can balance the paint box (the loop on back is perfect and holds it all firmly) and small tablet in one hand and use the brush with the other...perfect. If you want to have a compact kit that can provide professional results with virtually no set-up, this is what you need.

I have been pasinting in WC since 1960, and by far the pigments making up most of my pallette are Winsor and Newton. I have always tried to buy the best. That way if I am limited, it is not because of the products I use.

I purchased Cobalt Turquoise specifically to use at a painting workshop. The tube is labelled "Cobalt Turquoise" but the paint it contained is definately not (I suspect it is Cobalt Turquoise Light) The instructor at the workshop compared her tube and the colour was quite different. Very disappointing for a top brand water colour and an expensive Series 4 colour
