ROUNDS AREN'T AS DURABLE

I do a lot of acrylics and needed a fine round so I bought a #1 W&N Artist Acrylic. While their larger sizes seem to be holding up ok the small one has a lot of hairs that won't go back into shape and with fine detail one or two errant hairs can create havoc. I have to trim them off with fine scissors and it's smaller (which is nice) but I don't see it having much of a future.

I bought this brush to help me with my detail work. It's an ok brush. It doesn't hold as sharp an edge as other brushes I have and I probably won't be ordering this type of brush again, but I still like other styles from Windsor/Newton like the eclipse and monarch brands which are very fine to paint with.
