I use my easel all the time when I'm painting. It adjusts to a comfortable level whether I am standing or sitting - also can be used as an adjustable table-top easel. I haven't found anything yet that is not satisfactory about the product.

Well built, and the telescoping legs are easy to adjust. My only complaints are that on the watercolor version of this easel, the curved canvas "clamps" make it difficult to paint the bottom of the canvas. Also, I should have done a better job of researching the size range of canvases that fit the easel and I think it would help if Dick Blick included the minimum size canvas the easel will hold as well as the maximum (they do include this).
Other than that, a great price for a solid easel.

This product is great because it is sturdy enough to display art as well as hold up to constant use by young art students. Very pleased with this product.

This is a terrible product. It is wobbly and falls down easily. It doesn't hold the watercolor board securely, in fact it wobbles so much it is impossible to paint on it. It had probably already been returned once, since several places on the metal parts were scratched or chipped. It also doesn't tilt side to side for watercolor; only vertically. No wonder it's being discontinued.

I have the Bristol set up in my living room to do watercolors. We travel and I like to paint for a couple of hours a day, as part of my wind down process. This easel will allow me to paint anywhere in the room...not just at the kitchen table or counter. It fits nicely into it's case. But having to remove the top and bottom "canvas" holders to get it to fit in the case is not straight forward in the instructions. I'm happy with my purchase. Best price on the internet.

Everything others have said is true. I will add to the reviews that a nine year old student was able to set the easel up, after only showing her once the week before. This is an all around great easel.

I have had this easel for 12 years, used it constantly both in and out of my studio. It is sturdy. lightweight and adjusts so easily. I recommend it to all my pastel students as the best easel for the money.

I've purchased almost every easel available in the $20-80 range, and this is by far the best. Very sturdy, easy to set up, light, compact when needed. I've had these working in the field for years with no problems. All the others cheaper than this are complete junk!

I needed a lightweight easel that was easy to set up and take down...and that's exactly what this one is. Simplicity completely describes this easel. It also comes with a carrying case for traveling which is convenient and the easel stores nicely in that case when not being used.
I am very happy with my purchase!

This easel works great as a tabletop or full standup easel. It is very easy to set up and light enough to carry anywhere in its own case! It can be adjusted for the terrain with just a few clicks. No tools required.
Highly recommend this for anyone.
