Apply and manipulate large amounts of oil or acrylic paint with these extra wide rubber brushes. The flat style has a square edge, and the curve style is concave.

Comments about Wide Colour Shapers:
Easy to clean using fast drying acrylics. Easy for spreading thin layers of acrylic. Now I want a wider one.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this thing - I bought the Finnebair knives that are similar, and it fell apart right away. This one is built well and I know it will last.

Had a hard time finding a wide flat color shaper, but Dick blick had it and it is great, fast becoming one of my most loved tools.

This is a super soft tool, great for applying paint, and collage. I wish I bought this long ago!

Wide paint shaper
from Fergus Falls, Mn.
I like using the paint shaper to create a variety of textures in the wet paint or gesso. The only issue I have is the rubber shaper falls out of the handle, the shaper itself is still useable I would like to use the handle with the shaper, once it comes loose it can't be repaired.

Excellent Paint Shapers
from Calgary, AB
These paint shapers are fantastic. Solidly built, and an excellent amount of malleability in the rubber make them perfect for moving paint around the canvas, while still giving you a fine enough touch to allow how deep you want the paint to be set. No complaints with these at all.
These were exactly what I wanted

I like to use these in mixed media. Its very easy to move medium around and to use as a type of brush without brush lines. Very good product.

I bought several of these for my Dad for Christmas as he has taken up sculpting and was borrowing them from his instructor. (I realize these are used as painting tools, but they work wonderfully with clay.) He was so excited and just loves them. They give him great control as they are not too harsh of a tool and with just a slight amount of pressure he is able to work the clay to exactly the way he wants it. He is so happy with these tools, they are well worth the money and I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

I had been looking for these wide shapers every where since being introduced to them in an acrylic workshop. Your web site is the only place that I could find them. It would be great if they were stocked in the stores, also, so they could be looked at and handled before purchasing. I can find only the very narrow shapers in your store.I'm looking forward to many hours of joyful experimentation in manipulating the paint with these shapers.
