I've used turpenoid for several decades, now, and find it excellent all-round. It doesn't affect your nose or throat tissues, permeate the air where you are painting and is acceptable at most seminars and workshops as being unoffensive to the other participants. Whether you want it for thinning paint, cleaning your brushes and knives or just as a general mop up of dropped paint, turpenoid will do the job.

It's the only paint thinner i've used because i think it does what its supposed to do. I get nauseous when i use it in a poorly ventilated area but the fact that there is practically no smell is great. Unbeatable price for the gallon bottles!

Instead of continually buying new small containers of Turpinoid, I can save money by purchasing the large size and pouring it into a smaller container to take out when I go plein air painting. Great for cleaning brushes, hands and for thinning thick paint. Really like that it is odorless.

I use Turpenoid to clean out my brushes and create oil washes. I also find it useful for removing dried paint, glue, and other resins. I love that it has no perceptible odor, unless of course you stick your face in it (not advisable).
