Welcome to dickblick
These professional oil colors are formulated from refined linseed oil, safflower oils, and highly concentrated, lightfast pigments. Colors are creamy, smooth, and consistent.
Since 1921, artists have relied on original Permalba White for superior quality and permanence. An exclusive blend of Titanium White and other pigments prepared by a special process, Permalba White is the result of extensive laboratory testing and practical experimentation. Lead-free, acid-resistant, and alkali-resistant, this highly ranked, highly opaque paint has great covering power. Permalba White yields tints of true color value and brilliance that won't yellow over time, and its smooth, buttery consistency dries to a non-cracking, elastic film. Painting mediums won't affect its integrity.

I like it

Comments about Weber Permalba Artists Oil Colors:
I'm one of the members of the Senior Citizens class. Some time back I decided to try the Sap Green in your brand since I liked the White which I use all the time. I had a problem with the other brand not drying good, It seemed to take forever. The Permalba Sap Green seems to dry a little quicker. Not too fast but I like it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I use this product exclusively as my go-to white for its creamy consistency and tinting properties. Absolutely the best in its class!
Buttery and keeps the tint true when lightening colors
from Grand Junction, CO
Though I prefer titanium for pure opaque white, I use Permalba white to lighten colors. Its buttery consistency flows well straight from the tube and needs little to no medium.
from New Hampshire
Not only are the products I purchased excellent, but the first order of Permalba white paint arrived damaged and spilled. I contacted customer service and they replaced my damaged order noquestions asked ...and promptly. I will definitely continue doing business with Dick Blick.
The best by far!! good product and very quick delivery

The packaging was excessive. Three tubes came in a big box full of the bubble packs that were not needed.
My favorite brand of paints

I have painted in oils for years and have found Permalba to be the best as far as applying and blending ability. The colors are also great. I find this easier for my students to use also.
I've only used Permalba Titanium/Zinc white as it was recommended by my beginning painting instructor. I've tried other brands, but keep coming back to Permalba. The white is a good bargain, particularly when it is promoted as 'buy three.'
certainly will buy again and again

A really nice product, not only good for students but also perfect for professional artists. It mixed perfectly with any other brands.

Haven't had a chance to try this one yet but the price good.
from Glenpool, OK
I really like Permalba white. Haven't tried this color yet, but I expect it will be fine if it's anything like their white and black colors. Price very competitive.
