Welcome to dickblick
Utrecht American Master’s Printmaking Paper is a versatile paper made from premium 100% cotton rag fiber. Developed for fine print editions, this versatile, all-purpose paper embodies the qualities of a more expensive, imported paper — at a fraction of the cost.
When used for printmaking, the paper's strength and permanence respond well to vigorous techniques.
American Master's Printmaking Paper is also a wonderful drawing surface. Absorbent enough to accept charcoal, it's smooth enough for graphite, and durable enough for erasing.
Because of its 90 lb (250 gsm) weight, this versatile paper can also be used for gouache and watercolors, behaving like a hot press watercolor paper. It allows the color to sink in.
American Master's Printmaking Paper is available in black, white, and four subtle tones.
Made in the USA.
Handling Charge — When ordering sheets of paper or board larger than 18” x 24” in quantities of less than 10, a $3.00 per order handling fee applies. Paper or boards may be assorted to reach the quantity of 10.

My favorite paper for Monotypes
By Lor the Painter

This paper holds up well to water bath and does a great job at transfer of paint to it's surface for the monotype process
Good, Sturdy Paper
from Brea, CA
This print making paper holds onto mediums very well. I use it for longer life drawing projects becuase it has a great surface to work on. It's pretty reasonably priced too, definitely worth the investment.

This is a great paper for charcoal drawing. It is absorbent and sturdy. I wish it came in different widths. #sweepstakes

I have not used it yet, so unable to say 'how great it is' or what is not so great. I plan on doing some paper art and thought this would be the exact tipe of paper to do it with.
Great quality, fast shipping!

I used this paper to print 50 silkscreened posters for a New Years concert. The paper was great quality and shipped very quickly! I have been using this type of paper for a few years now, because of its affordability, quality, and consistency. I would definitely buy it again! Thanks Blick!

Good paper, good price
from Kalamazoo, MI
Very nice paper. I used the gray for screen print with no complaints. It has a slightly softer texture than Stonehenge but still durable.
So far so good!

For a middle priced printing paper, this paper is the best. 2 deckled edges and a lovely smooth surface. Great for printing with water based inks and paints. I have also used this paper as a painting substrate. Water absorbency is limited. Be careful, it will buckle if you use too much water
Great product. Have been using it for years.

I like this paper for the type of linocut printing I do. I prefer a stiffer paper and use water based ink. I print the plate on a press using dry paper. I also like the bright whiteness. I have also used watercolor on this paper after printing with water based ink. It works fine.

I bought this paper for monotypes. It's wonderful! I've always used Stonehenge--which I still love--but this Utrecht paper is quite similar and easier on the budget. Highly recommended!
