Utrecht American Master’s Printmaking Paper is a versatile paper made from premium 100% cotton rag fiber. Developed for fine print editions, this versatile, all-purpose paper embodies the qualities of a more expensive, imported paper — at a fraction of the cost.
When used for printmaking, the paper's strength and permanence respond well to vigorous techniques.
American Master's Printmaking Paper is also a wonderful drawing surface. Absorbent enough to accept charcoal, it's smooth enough for graphite, and durable enough for erasing.
Because of its 90 lb (250 gsm) weight, this versatile paper can also be used for gouache and watercolors, behaving like a hot press watercolor paper. It allows the color to sink in.
American Master's Printmaking Paper is available in black, white, and four subtle tones.
Made in the USA.
Handling Charge — When ordering sheets of paper or board larger than 18” x 24” in quantities of less than 10, a $3.00 per order handling fee applies. Paper or boards may be assorted to reach the quantity of 10.

Comments about Utrecht Art Utrecht American Master's Printmaking Paper:
I like this paper for the type of linocut printing I do. I prefer a stiffer paper and use water based ink. I print the plate on a press using dry paper. I also like the bright whiteness. I have also used watercolor on this paper after printing with water based ink. It works fine.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this paper for monotypes. It's wonderful! I've always used Stonehenge--which I still love--but this Utrecht paper is quite similar and easier on the budget. Highly recommended!

Used this paper in my printmaking class for nitric acid etching and dry point etching. It seems to be similar in quality to the lenox 100 paper that my professor recommended, but I have only used this for 6 prints so far.

A friend gave me a sheet of his Utrecht American Master's Printmaking Paper a few years ago to try and I discovered it worked well with the mediums I use, pen and ink and watercolor...and was less expensive than other papers I had been using. It's so reasonable I use it for quick sketches and finished art. I've been ordering packages of 100 sheets ever since. I have recommended this to friends who have asked...

Great quality and fast shipping

I use the cotton rag paper for Printmaking. Blick was recommended by my Printmaking professor at University. She has had more experience in Printmaking than me, so I knew I could trust her. The product was shipped quickly, and securely. When purchasing in bulk, I was able to save money. There was a slight 'horse shoe' mark in the paper, but was still usable for my project.
