Union's textile inks have become the workhorses of the screen printing industry. This highly versatile, lead-free ink has been specially formulated to work in a variety of applications. Inks are smooth, creamy, and easy to use.
Inks can be used for direct, wet-on-wet screen printing as well as for heat transfers (both hot-peel and cold-peel) on light and medium colored cotton and cotton/polyester garments.
Union Ultrasoft Inks will not air dry. They must be heat cured. The inks will fully cure and withstand repeated washings when the entire ink deposit reaches 300°F (149°C).
Direct emulsion stencils are recommended. Monofilament 86T-305T may be used. If necessary, inks can be thinned with Union Reducer/Detackifier, or extended with the Union Extender Base.
