Comments about St. Louis Crafts Two-Tone Tooling Foil:
The thing I like best about the two-toned foil is its versatility. You can paint it, emboss it, use it for collages, etc. The other thing I enjoy is that it is two-toned. You have the choice of color or can combine the colors by changing sides.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Beautiful Gold tone, nice crafting weight

The price point is decent and this heavy roll will go a long ways in your crafting projects. The only down side is that the cardboard packaging is so tight it is impossible to remove the metal foiling without damaging the first couple of layers.

Use this product with third graders to make luminaries. Easy to work with. One roll allows each student to make 2. Reasonably priced!
I would buy this product again!

I originally bought this for my 12 year old daughter to make a relief sculpture. She was able to use it with ease, so this time I ordered it so that I could have my middle school art students do the same type of project.

I teach art and art history. In collaboration with our literature teacher, we had our 10th grade students create a metal repuseè shield. The shield s content summed up the Aneid. It was a lot of content.. The metal tooling went well for students that worked at it. I will teach it again with more attention to the metal workings.
Students love it!

I've been using this for years

I initially purchased this tooling foil years ago for a repousse project with my 4th and 5th graders. The metal is a little thin, so if they push too hard they will punch a hole in it - but this is offset by the fact that it is quite easy to work with using simple wooden tools and the occasional pen. When students are done with their design, I use Dr. Ph. Martin inks to paint the negative space - the transparent inks preserve the metallic sheen of the tooling foil and the resulting projects are gorgeous!
I love the product

I will use the product for craft projects, and I think that the product is the best for embossing.

I use two tone toolong foil for my personal art work and with my students. Young artists love exploring the possibilities and all my students are amazed at the beautiful projects they are able to produce.
