Don't waste that oil paint!
By Dee Dee

Comments about Tube Wringer:
I chose the plastic Tube Wringer (even though I have an older metal one) because its a "light weight" and fits neatly into my paint box, making it more portable and handy. I will not allow my expensive oil paints to be wasted, so this is the ideal tool. Naturally this can be used for all mediums in a tube including your toothpaste. Affordable enough to have a few around the house. Good investment!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

What can I say? It wrings great! My only wish is that it was like a steam roller and strong enough to really flatten the tube and get everything out. I think for that, you'd need something with a motor. This works fine. It stops at the neck of the tube (where it's very very thick) and very little is wasted.

Metal Tube Wringer is heavy duty and works very well, wish I would have purchased it sooner!

I am very happy with my metal tube ringer. It is so satisfying to be able to get all the paint out of my 200 ml tubes of oil paint.
Great Tube Wringer
GET ONLY THE METAL TUBE WRINGER!!! I've tried plastic ones and they are near worthless. The metal one will pay for itself quickly with savings in paint.
Been looking for a good tube wringer for quite awhile. I've thrown 3 in the trash after the first use. I have only used this one once and I think it's going to be a winner.

This helps so much for keeping oil tubes from breaking from bending... students are so rough on the tubes, so this is nice to help in preventing that.

The metal wringer is worth every cent
This metal wringer is the best solution for getting every bit of paint. It is durable, it is domestically produced (in my homestate!), and it will easily pay for itself in saved paints. Paint keys and hand squeezing both leave some paint behind, this does not. You can also use it on hand wrung tubes, so there isn't a need to pack it around when you aren't painting in studio. It is easy to use and I believe this would also be a good solution for those with limited hand strength or arthritis as it takes less force to hold the handles together and turn the crank than doing without.Worth the price, and it feels very solid. I anticipate that this tool won't need to be replaced (unless I lose it!) even with rigorous daily use. The parts are simple but robust, clearly designed and built with quality. If you are contemplating this tool, I can say that it is worthwhile especially for the professional.
