Tube wringers really work!
from Pocatello, Idaho
Comments about Tube Wringer:
I've never seen nor tried another brand. Tube wringers do just what they say they will. Whether you are using them to get all the paint out of a tube or using them to wring out the last of the toothpaste, actually they work great on any tube I've tried. I finally purchased a second one to keep upstairs in the bathroom.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

All metal tube wringer

This wringer gets out the last little bit of expensive oil paint.

Tube wringer is very efficient and easy to use. There is a possiblity of making very sharp edges. It make s the partially used paint tube take up less space in my tool box.
Delighted; how to use
from SF Bay Area, California
Just received mine and immediately managed a series of larger tubes (150mL and up) on which I had been using paint keys. The greatly increased efficiency was instantly apparent. There is much more paint near the cap than before. It was not immediately apparent how to use it. Place the closed end of the paint tube between the gears, allowing the folded closure of the tube barely to miss the gears. Grip the handles of the wringer tightly together with one hand and twist knob with other hand.
Good to the last drop

Easy to use and saves you every drop of your valuable paint. Saves on every thing that comes in a tube. Medicine, toothpaste, etc.I bought the metal one and planning to have it forever. A better buy through the catalogue. Thanks

I had been using plastic tube keys bought from a brick and mortar store locally, but I knew they were not doing the job. Besides that, they made storage of tubes awkward. Having used metal tube keys in the past with similar dissatisfying results, and being that they are far more expensive per key, ($1.50 vs. $.25), I sprang for the tube wringer instead, which has made the job easier and neater, and eliminates the awkwardness of storing tubes with keys on. Having heard that the gears sometimes slip on the plastic ones, I got the metal wringer. No gear slippage on this one. I think I've used it on every tube of paint and toothpaste in the house. Very pleased with the purchase.
Handy studio tool
I purchased the metal version during a Blick sale. This is a handy tool to have in the studio.
Metal Tube Wringer Well Worth the Money
By WBTT John
from Sacramento, CA
The Metal Tube Wringers are worth every cent you pay as they are rugged and will last a lifetime without stripping. There are other tube wringers which have plastic handles and gears which will strip in a heartbeat. However, the all metal wringers just keep turning along, saving paint with each turn. One can save up to 37% of tube paint by using a tube wringer and as I mentioned, this one is the best! I recommend it!
a great tool!

This really works! Gets all the paint out, easy to use on small and large tubes, I recommended it to my painting class.
