Tri-Art Retarder is a water based product designed to slow down the drying time of acrylic colors. Mix it with colors and mediums at up to 15% concentration to increase open time and allow for greater manipulation. Retarder is essential in airbrush application. When used in correct proportion with Tri-Art Airbrush Acrylics and other airbrush acrylic paints, it extends the drying time of the paint and reduces buildup on the tip of the airbrush. It will not alter the integrity of the paint film. Tri-Art Retarder is also effective when used with Tri-Art High Viscosity Acrylics for screen printing.
