I got the 120 case for my PrismaColor Premier Pencils. I was excited when it came, but upon loading the case, I ran into a few problems right away.

It is time consuming and cumbersome to load the pencils (2 in a loop). The bottom loops are covered by the zippered edge when the case is open. The pencils are difficult to remove, especially those bottom loops, without breaking the tips, especially on soft leads like the premiers. To me, this is a deal breaker. When the case is full, it is difficult to zip the edge, and no matter which way you place the pencils, you risk breaking the tips. If they are out, the zipper breaks them, if the sharpened tip is on the inside they hit the bottom edge and break.

All in all this is not a good design, at least for the 120 set, especially on new pencils that have most of their length. If all of your pencils are under 3/4 this would probably work well.

Definitely not impressed. I will probably go back to a tin with foam lining until I find something better.

I haven't tested it yet, but I have a good feeling that it will keep my pencils safe from breakage, which is great! The case has a strong, hard yet cushiony feel to it that is just perfect for keeping pencils safe.
I don't at all mind the two-pencil to a loop thing. It saves a great deal of space.
Since I bought the 120, I don't have room for all of my 132 pencils, but its worth excluding some unwanted colors for this awesome case.
Also, in the 120 case, there is an empty side to one of the inner flaps. I'm thinking of sewing some sort of custom holders for erasers, tortillions, etc. It's actually nice to have that extra space so it's possible to customize.

I also have the leather case and love them both. The leather case can fit 3 pencils to the hoop and the trans case 2 to a hoop. Very happy with both and am now ordering another trans for my pastel pencils.

This case keeps all my pencils in order; quick to open and set up, and I have all my colors organized for easy access. My art class teacher had bought one the week before I did and it was a really good purchase for me, since I'm constantly buying new pencils.

i love this product as it is now so easy to keep my pencils in one place, can see colours at a glance and know when certain ones need replacing. as I use coloured pencils for the majority of my artwork I am glad this product came to my notice, even here in the U K.

My collection of Conte pastel pencils had outgrown their box so I needed a way to transport them conveniently. This case is padded and zips all around so the pencils cannot fall out. The elastic loops can hold two pencils each - even the large diameter of Conte pencils. I am pleased with the design and quality of the case.

I am so excited. I'm heading on a 19 day trip to Alaska and wanted to bring a selection of colored pencils with me. I was able to fit 73 colored pencils, 12 water color crayons, 20 water color pencils and 2 blenders. I saw this at the Colored Pencil Convention in Dallas as another artist showed me her case. I love that you can see all the colors at the same time.

Nice way to store and transport all my colored pencils. It is a little hard to put pencils in between the elastic on two 'outer' compartments.
