I agree with comments that the palette is well laid out. That's why I bought it. However, after two years of use, the center space gets so stained, particularly with yellows, I have to use a strong cleaning product to get it clean. If I don't clean it after every use, it is difficult to know the true color of the paint I am mixing. So I tossed it. If the manufacturer used a better material, this would be a great product because of its design. But right now I wouldn't recommend it.

I have used several Robert Wood pallets in the past, and after getting a new one, I found they have really dropped in quality. The plastic is so thin in the bottom of the wells which leads to denting and damaging in handling. There are also many flaws coming through from the mould in manufacturing. Customer service handled the problem for me without delay which was great. So if you buy one, keep in mind its a cheap pallet and it shows. More like a disposable pallet.

This palette has huge mixing areas and large deep wells for paint. Highly recommended!

I have tried several palettes similar to this but here is the difference that impressed me the most..............The wells are REALLY as described. They are wide and most especially, deep enough to hold lots of paint! Exactly what I was searching for! The price was phenemonal and I am one happy buyer! If you love to have lots of paint easily accessible..........buy this!!

I only gave it four stars because the top cover is somewhat flimsy. Otherwise, the palette is well laid out with nice deep wells, two nice big paint mixing surfaces on the palette its self and four nice large and deep wells on the top. I have several palettes and I can tell this will be my favorite.
