Long, swirling strands of kozo provide contrast and texture in these traditional style unryu papers. Lightweight and translucent, choose from a wide spectrum of colors ranging from pastels to rich, vibrant hues.

Each machine-made 100% kozo sheet measures 25" × 37" and is produced in Thailand.

Note — Use this color chart as an approximation of the real color. If exact color matching is necessary, use actual samples of the materials.

I use the Thai Unryu for my mixed media collage work as often as I can. Although tissue thin and easy to cut, the Thai Unryu paper is incredibly strong. It's perfectly suited to work with acrylic mediums and paint, laying flat or enabling me to create interesting textures should folds or creases occur by happy accident. The colors are true, hold fast when used with water and seem as vibrant as the day they arrived from Dick Blick. Big happy face for this artist!

We used this paper as an overwrap for invitations for an ordination. Paired with real pressed maple leaves and card stock under it, it worked beautifully. With 25 sheets, there were very few "flaws." The paper was beautiful, consistent, and easy to work with as it was quite flexible and cloth-like. It did require care in cutting, but after a little experimentation we got the hang of it quickly.
