I have yet to find anything that is as portable & user-friendly esp for those who don't own big vans to drive big display panels to shows. The edges are sharp, but that's not the problem. CAUTION - even lightly loaded, the arms can (& for me, do) drop your framed work w/o warning. My frames for this show were very lightweight. The arms need to be propped up at the ends to be secure. Another thing that helps is putting in some non-slip o-rings on either side of the wing-nuts that hold the system together. I think the addition of some non-slip material on the channel on the back of the vertical support member could solve all. I was set up on pavement when I used this product, and lost 4 frames to dropping of the middle arm. Lacking other packable alternatives, I will use again this year, but with added o-rings, roughing up the channel so it doesn't slide, and prop sticks on the ends (as well as carpet over the pavement).

I was disappointed when I discovered the place to hook the easel back together was broken off on my second assemblage. I first put things together to see how they worked. It does hold art work easily but it is not pretty and it does have sharp edges. I would suggest that extra hardware be included with the display as it is easy to misplace.

Right now, I'm using the display wall as a way to display many of my paintings in my house. Later, I will use it at upcoming art shows. So, the art wall does double-duty for me, so to speak. When I saw it in the catalog, I knew it was something I could redily use right away, to get my artwork up off my living room floor and display some of the canvases in my home.
What it doesn't have are wider shelves to get more pieces on each shelf. But it's a display wall, to be used displaying artwork at art shows, not to get as many pieces off a living room floor as possible.
But as a display wall, it works for what it was intended and designed to do, if this is how one wants to display art work.
What I would want someone to do is design a display wall to be used in a house, making the shelving out of wood or a wood composite, maybe stainable, with wider shelves to be able to allow for more canvases to be put up, albeit some pieces in front of other canvases.

I like this product because it holds quite a bit of artwork to show during art fairs. However, the edges are sharp, and it is difficult not to damage my art on it. Also, it lost a rubber foot after two uses. It is fairly sturdy, but make sure to tighten all bolts, because it can slip and cause the whole art wall to fall over. I think that this is a bit over priced, but it does (at the bare minimal) what I need it to, and doesn't look super unattractive at the same time.

Is used this product as it is pictured in the advertisement as opposed to the way they show it in the instructions. I bought 4 of them and set them up side by side with the arms all set at the same height; that way, I was able to create a solid wall and have some pictures sharing arms from both stands. The stands are easy to assemble and the design is well thought out. Three of the 4 I bought came with oversized carrying bags that held everything easily. The fourth came with a bag that was just big enough.

I purchased these to use at festivals and art shows. They held up well and were sturdy for the outdoor shows and they are PERFECT for indoor use. I can display seven framed 16x20 drawings without any trouble. Wind is an issue, but with something tying the tops of the frames to the stand, an easy fix. LOVE IT!

I was going to use for upcoming art show. As I was practicing to set it up I noticed the edges are very very sharp. I am looking for something attractive to cover them because I am afraid if anyone brushes up against them they will get hurt. Also you have to put the same size art work on each row for it to be able to hold them in place. I thought your artwork could be self supporting sitting on each shelf, however what holds it in place is the next row of shelves. So if you want to pull one out you have to loosen the screws and I don't feel safe with frames with glass possibly hitting the floor. The most disappointing thing is the sharpness of the shelves and not being able to display various sizes of work, however it is great concept and very lightweight and easy to assemble
